SATURDAY JANUARY 3RD, 2026

A musical journey through the birthplace of rock 'n' roll and the sound that shook the world.

Join three Tennessee artists through the historical archives of Memphis's own Sun Records - playing the classics.

Sun Records, founded in 1952 by Sam Phillips in Memphis, Tennessee, is one of the most influential labels in American music history. It became the birthplace of rock ’n’ roll by blending blues, country, gospel, and rhythm & blues into a groundbreaking new sound. Phillips championed raw, unpolished artists and believed that real emotion mattered more than perfection.

The label launched the careers of legends including Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis, Carl Perkins, and Roy Orbison. Its small, unassuming studio on Union Avenue became a cultural landmark, capturing some of the most important early recordings in rock, rockabilly, and country music. Sun Records remains a symbol of musical innovation, artistic freedom, and the beginning of a global cultural shift.

SATURDAY JANUARY 10TH, 2026

A native of Tennessee, Drew Sterchi started playing guitar at the age of 13 doing covers of Steppenwolf, Doors, Stones and Kinks. As every musician knows, there comes a moment that changes your playing. That epiphany came to Drew when he heard Chicago blues icon Michael Blumfield’s solo on the song Texas from Electric Flag’s album. “After that all my playing started tilting toward a more expressive blues style.”

While most blue-eyed blues bands emulated their idols down to the note, Blues Tribe has only borrowed what was needed to form their sound. They have honed their unique style of original material which is a blend of acoustic and electric blues, R&B and classic rock...songs that juxtapose heartfelt lyrics with dynamic solos.

Blues Tribe’s first album “Left here with the Blues” as well as his newly released album

“Running From the Finish Line” is a collection of songs that speaks of his own history. Songs that tell a personal story of his own experience and evolvement over the years. As you explore the lyrics and feel the emotional moments that grace his work, you will find that it is much more than just a blues album.

Lucy London is a Minneapolis-based singer and touring musician originally from Petaluma, California. A folk singer and storyteller at heart, she blends techniques from opera, yodeling, throat singing, and beatboxing to create performances that are both striking and playfully unconventional.

In 2025, she co-composed Fox and Beggar Theatre Company’s touring puppet operetta Tigre, Tigre!, singing the role of the principal character, Z. That same year she wrote and toured Grasping at Straws, an hour-long musical solo performance exploring her evolving relationship to activism during the Great Turning. She has shared stages with artists including Dale Watson and Dean E. Patrick Johnson.

Lucy released two records in 2025: Pinto Pals: Yodeling Songbirds, an album with her yodeling duo The Pinto Pals, and Sweetheart, I’m Here, an EP of original music created with Jackie Rae Daniels and Mikey Marget.

An Evening with Ben Torbett Band with Cliff Westfall

Originally from North Georgia, Ben Torbett’s new album, Bluer Side, captures his roots in classic country, rock, and honest songwriting, with rough-and-tumble lyricism that has earned the record high praise. His shows always sell out, featuring some of the best country from Chattanooga performed by all-star players.

Opening: Cliff Westfall, a Kentucky-born songwriter now based in the Catskills and NYC area, blends rock-tinged classic country with influences ranging from Dwight Yoakam and Rodney Crowell to Elvis Costello. His 2018 debut album, Baby You Win, earned airplay on SiriusXM’s Outlaw Country, rave reviews in over 30 publications worldwide, and spots on multiple year-end “Best Of” lists, while his song “More and More (I Love You Less and Less)” was a finalist in the Chris Austin Songwriting Competition at MerleFest. An 8th-generation Kentuckian raised in Owensboro, Westfall channels the mix of country, rock, and old-school R&B from his youth into his signature “electrified honky tonk” sound. Currently, he is working on a new record with acclaimed Nashville producer Jordan Lehning, continuing to craft witty, hook-filled songs that critics describe as some of the most cunning and melodic country in the contemporary era.

ADVANCE BASE x MOONTYPE x Signs Following

Advance Base is the melancholic soft-rock project of Chicago songwriter Owen Ashworth (formerly of Casiotone for the Painfully Alone), who crafts minimalist, nostalgia-soaked ballads with electric piano, Omnichord, samplers, drum machines, and his warm conversational baritone. His acclaimed 2018 album Animal Companionship—praised by GoldFlakePaint and Various Small Flames—helped cement his reputation as one of indie music’s most empathetic storytellers, followed by releases like Wall of Tears, Live at Home, and the 2022 single “Little Sable Point Lighthouse.” Described by critics as everything from “weirdly uplifting lo-fi” to “a Raymond Carver short story collection set to music,” Ashworth continues to build a quietly powerful body of work centered on intimate characters and tender emotional truths.

x

Moontype’s second album, I Let the Wind Push Down On Me (out May 23, 2025 on Orindal Records), captures the band’s rebirth as lead singer and bassist Margaret McCarthy embraces solitude, emotional honesty, and the beauty of small moments. Following their 2021 debut, the Chicago indie rock outfit expanded its lineup, deepened its creative chemistry through weekly jam sessions, and shaped songs that balance vulnerable lyricism with bold, unpredictable arrangements. From the shimmering single “Long Country” to introspective tracks born from personal upheaval, the album chronicles McCarthy’s growth and the band’s collective evolution—an intimate, invigorating document of confronting dark emotions, trusting the process, and emerging stronger together.

Joshua Songs

Joshua Songs has spent more than 20 years alternating between living as a recluse and exposing himself musically to audiences across the country. His unique voice and surprising range lend a haunting vulnerability to his stories of love, loss, and life on the road. With a voice equal parts gravel and glory, Joshua delivers a dark and dirty brand of blues.

Endelouz

Endelouz is rock ’n’ roll and Memphis soul, though they’re most often cited for their devotion to The Rolling Stones. The band began in 2009 when Jack was living in Memphis and recording in Nashville with drummer Joseph Berkley and bass player Dennis Hubbard, who were based in Chattanooga. Jack eventually returned to Chattanooga to work with the band full-time.

Since then, Endelouz has performed throughout the Southeast at festivals, bars, clubs, and theaters including Nightfall, Riverfront Nights, Cannabis Fest, Roots Fest, and Beer Over Dirt. The band has recorded six studio albums and produced records for North American Royalty, Keith Crisp, Tab Spencer, and Dave McDaniel. Their song “Get Her Back Again” served as the theme for the regional television show Lindsay Street Hall Presents.

In 2020, Endelouz launched a video series called The Chateau Del Endelouz. Born from the isolation and madness of that year, the project blended art, music, and comedy into a fantastical world where the band navigated a series of comedic adventures. The series has been featured in several film festivals including The Nooga Underground Film Festival, The Festival of Rejects, and Video Extravaganzarama.

In 2022, Endelouz welcomed Jessie Knowles as a background vocalist and contributor to The Chateau Del Endelouz. The band’s latest album, Flooded House on the Hill, marks a return to their American roots and features the single “Hazy Gayle.”

FRIDAY MARCH 13TH, 2026

There’s nothing scarier than being honest with yourself. For singer/songwriter Al Olender, facing her fear of the truth has been a cleansing, often cathartic process that’s led to the kind of revelations she had previously thought unobtainable. On her debut full-length album Easy Crier, the Upstate New York based artist asks: what happens if we vow to never tell a lie, ever again? Charting the daunting territories of staring your demons right in the face and prodding at the ugly parts of your reflection, Olender pieces together her most vulnerable moments to produce a celebratory and beautiful rumination on grief, and reminds us of the power that comes in really getting to know yourself.

The catalyst for this renewed outlook stems from the sudden loss of her older brother. As a huge supporter of Olender’s musical talents from the very beginning, he would often invite his friends over and encourage a then-teenage Olender to play her “angsty love songs” for them. “Everything that I do musically revolves around my brother,” she says. “It's like every single thing I do in my life – my brother is so much in the front of my mind.”

Easy Crier isn’t an album about death. It’s an album about unending love. It’s an album that takes each shattered, heartbroken piece and puts them back together to form a strangely beautiful mosaic. “It’s a love letter to everything I’ve lost,” she says. “And forms a real insight into how telling the truth has truly changed my life.” Here, Olender is finally letting herself feel everything all at once, no matter how uncomfortable or scary it can be.

Olender strives to use her voice for connection and healing, for herself and for anyone else who’s listening.

A. Lee Edwards is a Southern songwriter whose music echoes the plainspoken poetry of John Prine and the raw honesty of Townes Van Zandt. Over the past three decades, he’s built a quiet legacy of songs that cut deep without pretense—grounded in lived experience, heartbreak, and hard-earned perspective. His latest release, Interpreting Heart Sounds Vol. I (Feb 2025), strips things back to the essentials: thoughtful lyrics, understated arrangements, and a voice that sounds like it’s seen some things. It’s a natural evolution for an artist who’s spent years on the road and just as many off it, writing songs that find meaning in the small moments. “A. Lee Edwards delivers songs with the quiet confidence of a writer who’s lived them — rich in melody, honesty, and the kind of Southern soul that never goes out of style.”— Americana Highways

“An introspective, homespun philosopher.” – New York Times

Steve Forbert is a true American musical treasure, with a career defined by observant, melodic songwriting that finds magic in everyday moments. His latest album, Daylight Savings Time, produced by Steve Greenwell, features contributions from Aaron Comess, Rob Clores, Byron House, and Gurf Morlix, and celebrates the subtle joys and reflections of life with Forbert’s distinctive voice, acoustic guitar, harmonica, and foot-stomped rhythms. The album’s first single, “Sound Existence,” captures his blend of warmth, wit, and wisdom: “The best ain't yet to come, but you could still get by just fine.”

Arriving in New York City from Meridian, Mississippi, in 1976, Forbert quickly established himself in the “new folk” revival while also performing in venues like CBGB and busking across Greenwich Village. His early albums, Alive on Arrival and Jackrabbit Slim, including the #11 pop hit “Romeo’s Tune,” cemented his place in American music alongside legends like Dylan, Zevon, Parsons, and Springsteen. Across decades, Forbert has refined a singular musical voice, blending narrative storytelling with enduring melodies, making him a beloved figure in folk, rock, and Americana.

MELISSA CARPER

Celebrated for her sharply observant lyrics, homespun charm, and a voice that feels lifted from a vintage gramophone, Melissa Carper creates old-school country music that resonates across eras. Her sound blends old-time, bluegrass, western swing, jazz, and blues—the roots threads that once formed country music before the industry divided it into genres. Nashville musician Chris Scruggs captured her timeless appeal by dubbing her “HillBillie Holiday,” adding, “She’s as good as it gets.”

Carper grew up in North Platte, Nebraska, surrounded by her parents’ Hank Williams and Loretta Lynn records. She and her siblings sang gospel in churches and later formed a family country band, with Melissa holding down the bass by age twelve. After years playing late-night gigs in rural lodge halls and encouragement from a bassist-band-director mentor, she earned a classical bass scholarship to the University of Nebraska at Lincoln—setting the stage for the artist she is today.
