“A former underground folk-rocker who taught himself slide guitar behind a chicken coop in New Mexico, Jhett Black possesses a rich, distinctive baritone voice chockful of Southern gothic swagger, something than enabled him to take second place in the solo/duo division of the IBCs in 2022. And he launches Delta blues into places it’s never gone before here.” — Marty Gunther Chicago Blues Guide
The southern gothic sound of Jhett’s bass-baritone voice growls over the top of gritty slide guitar and wages war on struggle and strife bearing an honest and powerful take on blues and roots music.

Americana, rock, folk, singer-songwriter Andy Sydow is a jack-of-all-trades. As an accomplished multi-instrumentalist who's lyrics paint a picture of poetic realism, Sydow tours consistently both solo and with a backing band. Throughout the course of a show he’s known to croon an audience with acoustic guitar ballads, sing a few numbers on his lap steel, and sit down at the keys to show off his surprising boogie-woogie piano chops. He draws comparisons to voices like Paul Simon and Jackson Browne, mixed with a roots rock vibe reminiscent of Tom Petty or Nathaniel Rateliff. Sydow has toured internationally, received AAA airplay, become a two-time finalist in the Kerrville New Folk Songwriter Competition, and supported numerous acts. The acts he has supported include Shane Smith & The Saints, Dick Dale, Chuck Prophet, Tab Benoit, Samantha Fish, Lucero, and Anders Osborne. Following the release of his EP, Measure 1: Orchestral Arrangements by Andy Sydow, 2024 will see the release of his full length album produced by Anders Osborne that was recorded at Dockside Studios in Maurice, LA. Osborne produced as well as played guitar and sang backing vocals. Mike Dillion provided the percussion, and Casandra Faulconer completed the quartet on bass. Aside from his own career as an artist and songwriter, Sydow has production credits that include Lauren Frihauf (The Voice, Season 19), Payge Turner (The Voice, Season 19), Veronica May, and more. When he's not touring, writing, or recording, Sydow spends time talking to other creatives and music industry professionals on his podcast, Middle Class Rock Star.

The Resonant Rogues’ dark Appalachian folk paints a picture of their lives in the mountains of Western North Carolina and on the road. Anchored by the songwriting duo of Sparrow Smith (banjo, accordion) and Keith Josiah Smith (guitar), they’ve traveled the byways and highways of America and crossed the oceans with instruments in tow. From riding freight trains to building their own homestead, the pair are no strangers to blazing unconventional trails. At once rooted and adventurous, each song tells a story of real experiences, friendships, and challenges. The Rogues wrapped up a record in Nashville with renowned producer Andrija Tokic (Alabama Shakes, Hurray for the Riff Raff), featuring guest appearances from Sierra Ferrell, Benjamin Tod, John James Tourville (The Deslondes), and Jason Dea West.
“Their intense cohesion is so intertwined that it feels like they’re playing with one pair of hands.” –No Depression “I urge you to get out and hear them” -Lonesome Highway

FRIDAY SEPTEMBER 5TH, 2025
“Goldpine is folksy and falls within the Americana genre but their musical arrangements are very innovative and eclectic.” - Melissa Clarke (Americana Highways, July 7, 2022)
From Bristol Rhythm & Roots Reunion and the Kansas City Chiefs’ Arrowhead Stadium to listening rooms throughout the United States, husband-wife duo GOLDPINE has been offering their own brand of bold harmony-driven Americana to audiences large and small. WINNER of the 2022 Rocky Mountain Songwriter Contest, their distinctive harmonies are clearly a channel for their sometimes-raucous, sometimes-reminiscent compositions. With an incredible collection of stories about life, love, and purpose, their live performance is a powerful projection of everything Goldpine is about: striking vocals, bold harmony, and introspection into the human experience.
After nearly a decade of honing in on their sound, Goldpine will release their third album appropriately titled Three, which gives the listener a glimpse into their live energy captured from the road. On their lead single, “Alabama Born”, brazen family harmonies with understated guitars underscore the pain & joys of an Alabama upbringing. Mastered by Dave McNair (Shovels & Rope, Brandi Carlile), this Americana single emphasizes a father’s alcohol addiction and the burial of so many family members. On the minimalist single “Understand”, Kassie's country-retro-soul vocals give way to howling electric guitars and ethereal vocal interludes, as it balances the tenderness and tension of long-term love. Three is about real people and real situations, told through candid and passionate songwriting. Exposing the pains of severed relationships and unearthing the pursuits of love and purpose, Goldpine is cathartic, moody, dissonant and relevant, all intertwined into one.

Join us for an evening with Max Gomez and Shannon McNally co-headlining for a night of folk, blues, and songcraft.
Singer/Songwriter Max Gomez grew up in Taos, New Mexico, where he fell under the influence of country blues early on and developed a songwriting style that was uniquely his. As a budding performer, Max apprenticed in the rarefied musical micro-climate of northern New Mexico, where troubadours like Michael Martin Murphey and Ray Wylie Hubbard helped foster a Western folk sound both cosmic and country. He received critical acclaim upon the release of his debut album Rule The World (2013, New West Records); and his subsequent EP, Me and Joe (2017, Brigadoon Records), contained a freshly minted classic, “Make It Me.” He has shared billing on hundreds of stages with stalwarts of the genre like James McMurtry, Buddy Miller, John Hiatt, Patty Griffin, Tommy James & The Shondells, Jeff Beck, and Johnny Depp. Judging by the company he keeps, Gomez is poised to emerge as a prominent voice of Americana’s next generation. The forthcoming album, Memory Mountain, is set to be released in August 2025.
Grammy nominee Shannon McNally’s live music career began on the jam band circuit of the 1990s with bands like Derek Trucks and Railroad Earth. Since then, her catalog has grown to span the whole of the Americana music spectrum, both writing original songs as well as interpreting the songs of others. She brings a soul-stirring musicality to her craft. Her honest and, at times, elegant voice immediately grabs one by the heartstrings. Not to mention as it turns out, she is also an exceptional electric guitar player. McNally has fourteen albums to her name and a string of single self-releases on her personal label, Queen Maeve Records. Her latest album, “Live At Dee’s,” is a career retrospective song list captured over four nights in September of 2022 with a revolving band of Nashville musicians. Showcasing McNally’s wonderful storytelling and sense of wry humor, the 18-song disc captures her at her most relaxed in her natural habitat of neighborhood Honky Tonk. For those who have followed McNally’s twenty-plus-year career, the thing that sticks with listeners the most about her is the timeless effortlessness she brings to all she does. With an impressive catalog and extensive list of collaborators with whom she has written, recorded, and toured; McNally continues to turn out great music across wide-flung ends of the spectrum, defying genre-fication. At home on any stage, from Lincoln Center to the juke joints of Mississippi—she always brings the house down.

William Elliott Whitmore’s gravel-deep voice first turned heads far beyond the Americana underground when his haunting version of "Bury Me Not On The Lone Prairie," appeared in Red Dead Redemption. With the fire of a 1920s gospel preacher and a fascination with sin, death, and redemption, Whitmore conjures a raw blend of country blues, field hollers, and punk spirit. His music feels unearthed rather than written—timeless, weathered, and fiercely alive.
Raised on a small farm in Lee County, Iowa, Whitmore grew up working the land and absorbing the music of his family—banjo, accordion, guitar and all. After early days in the hardcore punk scene, he carved out a singular voice with his 2003 debut Hymns for the Hopeless, later signing to punk-rooted label ANTI- and releasing a string of acclaimed albums. His most recent, Silently, The Mind Breaks, returns to stark, powerful storytelling—proving once again that his songs aren’t just performed, they’re lived.
